Sliema Wanderers’ minors team have secured promotion to Section A, the top tier of Maltese youth football, after mathematically confirming a second-place finish behind Section B champions Mġarr.
The decisive moment came following a victory over Balzan, sealing the Wanderers’ long-awaited return to the top division after a four-year absence.
