Sliema were crowned Men’s National Beach Soccer Champions after overcoming La Playa de Arena 3–1 after extra time in a gripping final held at Bajja s‑Sabiħa, Birżebbuġa.

The match delivered end‑to‑end action, with both sides creating clear chances throughout. Sliema struck first through Mantas Makutunovicius, who turned sharply before finishing past goalkeeper Jonathan Grech. La Playa de Arena hit back thanks to a precise free‑kick from Karl Caruana, sending the contest into extra time after a 1–1 stalemate over 36 minutes.

In the additional period, Sliema’s experience proved decisive. Makutunovicius completed his brace to restore the lead, and veteran Mark Camilleri added a late goal to seal the victory and secure back‑to‑back titles for the Blues.
