Sliema Aquatic Sports Club are mourning the loss of Franco Mizzi, "a former committee member, lifelong supporter, and true pillar of our community."
The club recalled Mizzi's love for the club, calling it "unconditional and ever‑present, felt at the pitch, at the pool, and in the countless moments shared with fellow supporters," while remarking that "his passion, commitment, and familiar smile will remain forever part of who we are."
The club also showed sympathy for "Franco’s family and friends as we mourn this great loss together," while stating that "he will always hold a special place in the heart of the Sliema community."
