Sirens ASC Shine at Slovakia Synchro Competition

Sirens ASC enjoyed a memorable weekend at the 34th Slovakia Synchro Competition, delivering standout performances that placed the club firmly on the international stage. The Maltese club fielded two Mixed Duet teams, both of which rose to the occasion with confidence, precision, and exceptional artistry.
In the 12 & Under Mixed Duet, Leo Kalota and Adah Vella claimed a well‑deserved gold medal, with Giulia Mari Sant serving as reserve swimmer. Their routine impressed the judges with its clarity, synchronisation, and expressive quality, earning Sirens ASC the top step of the podium. It was a defining moment for the young pair, showcasing the strength of the club’s development pathway.
The Youth Mixed Duet also delivered an outstanding performance, placing second in the routine event and third overall in a competitive field featuring duets from Poland and Kazakhstan. Their podium finish highlighted the team’s technical growth and ability to compete against established European programmes.
Sirens ASC praised the athletes and coaching staff for their dedication and professionalism throughout the event. The club also acknowledged the support of the SportMalta International Participation Scheme, which continues to provide valuable opportunities for Maltese athletes to gain international experience.
