Shason Borg Steps Up For Qormi In BOV Amateur Cup Final

Last Suaturday, 9th May was a day to remember for Qormi's Under 21 goalkeeper Shason Borg, who played the full 90 minutes in his team's 4-0 victory over Victoria Hotspurs in the BOV Amateur Cup Final.
Qormi FC congratulated the youth goalkeeper, who bravely rose for the occasion and kept a clean cheet in what was surely one of the biggest if not the biggest match of his career so far. Despite suffering a head injury in the first half, Borg showed great courage and determination and stayed between the sticks for the whole 90 minutes.
Qormi FC congratulated Shason for his "big heart and fighting spirit," already proving his worth at senior level at such a young age.
