Senglea Gunners Finish Second in MAFA First Division

Senglea Gunners finished the MAFA First Division season in second place after defeating Marsa St Michael 2-1 in a direct clash between the two sides.
It was the final match of the season for both teams, with the encounter proving to be an entertaining affair. Senglea took the lead in the 15th minute when Ousman Jallow beat the Marsa goalkeeper. In the second half, the Cottonera side doubled their advantage before Marsa reduced the deficit in the 62nd minute through a penalty converted by Sabri El Mansar.
The final standings see Għaxaq Wolves as champions with 28 points, followed by Senglea Gunners with 26 points. Marsa St Michael sit third with 23 points, followed by the two teams from the capital, Valletta St Paul's and Valletta Stars, both with 22 points. San Ġiljan Saints finish sixth with 14 points, San Ġwann Pro Ev seventh with 12 points, and Balluta Barracudas last with 4 points.
