San Ġiljan Aquatic Sports Club Bid Farewell To Russell Caruana

San Ġiljan ASC have bid farewell to their player Russell Caruana after coming to an agreement for his transfer.

Russell’s journey with San Ġiljan stretches back almost a decade, having joined the club when he first started playing water polo. A true product of our academy, he grew through the different age groups in the San Ġiljan colours before earning his place within the senior team in 2022.

Over the years, Russell developed from a young academy player into a senior athlete, contributing to several of the club’s successes in recent seasons. His progression also saw him earn recognition at international level, representing Malta with both the junior and senior national teams.

Having spent his entire water polo journey to date at San Ġiljan, the club extended its sincere thanks to Russell for his commitment and contribution to the club throughout these years.

San Ġiljan thanked him for all he has done for the club and wished him every success as he embarks on this new chapter.
