Samantha Axisa excels in European Sailing competitions

Royal Malta Yacht Club young sailor, Samantha Axisa, excelled in the European sailing competitions held in Spain, shining in competitions which bring together top young sailors from all over Europe.

From the 11th to the 18th of April 2026, the ILCS 4 Youth European Championships and Open European Trophy took place in CAR Region de Murcua, Spain, in which Samantha Axisa finished 10th overall in the U16 category.

The Royal Malta Yacht Club congratulated Samantha for her outstanding performance, remarking that "the future is bright" for the young sailor.

They also congratulated former RMYC sailing school youngster, Adele Ramm-Ericson, who had sailed with the club in her early years, placing 9th overall in the competition.
