Sam Engerer Starts Italian Journey With Rari Nantes Nuoto Salerno

Sam Engerer has begun his first Italian experience after joining Rari Nantes Nuoto Salerno, stepping into the competitive environment of Serie A2. The Maltese youth international, who recently featured in Malta’s strong U20 European Championship campaign, now takes an important developmental leap abroad.

At Salerno, Engerer will also reunite with Christian Presciutti, the former Sliema academy coach now leading the club’s senior setup. Presciutti’s presence offers Engerer continuity and a familiar guiding hand as he adapts to Italian water polo structures.
