ROUND OF 16 DRAW SETS STAGE FOR MERIDIANBET FA TROPHY BATTLE

The Round of 16 draw for the Meridianbet FA Trophy was held on Friday morning, officially outlining the Road to the Final for one of Maltese football’s most historic competitions. Sixteen teams were drawn 10 from the Malta Premier League and six from the BOV Challenge League setting up several compelling match‑ups.

The draw produced a number of all‑Premier League clashes, while Challenge League sides will aim to spring surprises as they continue their pursuit of silverware. With the bracket now confirmed, every club is aware of the route they must navigate in their quest to lift the trophy.

The Round of 16 will be played between 27 and 29 January 2026, followed by the Quarter‑Finals on 3–4 March, the Semi‑Finals on 4 April, and the Final on 24 May 2026. The draw was conducted by Malta FA Match Operations Manager Stewart Said and former Malta international Ernest Spiteri Gonzi, a two‑time FA Trophy winner.
