Malta’s flagship fitness fundraiser, The Challenge Malta, closed its latest edition during the last weekend of March, with unprecedented participation and the highest fundraising total in its history.

Organised twice a year by Garmin Malta, Jungle box and The Warehouse Fitness Studio, The Challenge Malta once again united athletes in support of Hospice Malta’s essential palliative care services. The event continues to attract a diverse mix of fitness enthusiasts, first time challengers, and returning supporters, all contributing to a vibrant and energetic atmosphere.

This edition welcomed 1,124 participants, the largest turnout the event has ever recorded, raising an impressive €70,000, and marking the highest single event contribution since the event first took place. These funds will directly support Hospice Malta’s mission to provide free, high quality palliative care to patients and their families.

Across its six editions held over the past three years, The Challenge Malta has now raised a cumulative €245,000, solidifying its identity as a national movement, and its role as one of Malta’s most impactful community driven fundraising initiatives.

The upcoming edition of The Challenge Malta will take place between the 11th and 13th of September 2026 at Campus Hub, promising another dynamic weekend of fitness, solidarity, and community spirit.
