Qormi Daikin Finish Third In EuroHockey Club Challenge I

Qormi Daikin concluded a strong campaign in the EuroHockey Club Challenge I in Predanovci, Slovenia, by securing third place in the final standings.

The Maltese side suffered a 6-0 defeat against eventual champions HAHK Mladost of Croatia, who established a commanding lead with four first-half goals before controlling the match until the end.

Despite the result, Qormi delivered a positive overall performance in a high-level competition, sharing third place with Slovenia’s HK Triglav Predanovci.

Earlier in the tournament, the Qormi side registered a 3-2 victory over HC SHVSM Olimpia Vinnitsa and also drew 2-2 with HK Triglav.

The title was shared between HAHK Mladost and Copenhagen HC, who won their respective finals against Qormi HC and HK Triglav. In the final classification, Épitök and HC SHVSM Olimpia Vinnitsa finished fifth, while Furuset LK placed seventh.
