Qormi Daikin Fight Back For Draw As Żurrieq Wolves Secure Malta’s Challenge II Status

Qormi Daikin staged another impressive comeback in the EuroHockey Division 1 tournament after earning a dramatic 2-2 draw against HK Triglav Predanovci.
The result left both teams level on points in Group A, while Qormi now look ahead to the prestigious final against Croatian giants HAHK Mladost.
Meanwhile, Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks concluded their EuroHockey Club Challenge II campaign in third place, ensuring Malta’s place in the competition for next season.
The tournament also saw Gibraltar and Poland secure promotion to Challenge I, while Sweden and Lithuania were relegated to Challenge III. Malta, together with Wales and Hungary, retained its place in EuroHockey Club Challenge II.
