Qormi Daikin confirmed themselves as the Hockey 7s champions after defeating Rabat 11-1 in a match played last weekend at the Kordin Hockey Complex.
The side coached by Steve Tanti made their intentions clear from the opening stages of the match, with Neil Spiteri Montebello, Bir Sandhu and Wyatt Magri all scoring braces.
Ayrton Falzon, Nicole Zammit, John Williams, Julian Zahra and Joseph Cuschieri also got on the scoresheet to complete an emphatic victory for the Qormi side.
This victory over Rabat, together with their title triumph, confirms Qormi Daikin's dominance in Maltese hockey, marking another successful season in the domestic scene.
