Qormi Daikin Clinch 17th National Hockey Title

Qormi Daikin secured their 17th national hockey championship in style after defeating GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks 7–4 in an action‑packed encounter. Led by coach Andre Ghio, Qormi needed only a point to mathematically confirm the title but delivered a commanding performance to claim all three.
Tommy Kok was the star of the match, scoring a hat‑trick, while Nathan Pace Gasan added two goals. Kyle Micallef and Julian Zahra also found the net to round off Qormi’s impressive attacking display. Żurrieq responded through Christ Agius, who scored twice, with Nicky Runza and Stefano Schembri also getting on the scoresheet.
Celebrations erupted at the final whistle as Qormi players, officials, and supporters marked yet another historic achievement for the club. The newly crowned champions still have two league fixtures remaining, against Floriana and White Hart, before the official trophy presentation. Match officials were Karl Chircop and James Mizzi.
