The Gozo Waterpolo Masters Tournament delivered an action-packed weekend, with two teams emerging as undisputed champions in their respective age groups. Primorac Kotor from Montenegro secured the 40+ title after a flawless run, culminating in a nail-biting 7-6 victory over Real Canoe in the final. Their consistency and tactical strength were evident throughout the tournament, as they won all eight matches played over the three-day event.

In the 50+ category, Malta’s BYB team mirrored that success, also finishing unbeaten after eight matches. Their dominant performances showcased experience, teamwork, and resilience, proving why they deserved the top spot. Both teams demonstrated that passion for water polo doesn’t fade with age, delivering high-quality games that thrilled spectators and participants alike.

The tournament, held in Gozo, was designed for former water polo players who still want to compete and enjoy the sport.
