Pieta’ Hotspurs secured a narrow but important victory over nearby rivals Hamrun Spartans in a key U15 Section A Play-Out Division match.

The two sides were evenly matched throughout the encounter, with neither team able to find a breakthrough for most of the game. It was only in the 70th minute that the deadlock was finally broken, as Liam Abela found the back of the net to give Pieta’ the decisive lead.

The tightly contested match was played on Saturday, 14th March, at the Dingli ground, with Pieta’ holding on to claim all three points.
