Paul Mbong in Advanced Talks Over Malta Premier League Return

L-Argument have exclusively revealed that Malta international forward Paul Mbong could be set for a return to the Malta Premier League, with Floriana FC emerging as strong contenders for his signature,.
Sources close to L-Argument confirmed that discussions are at an advanced stage between Mbong and Floriana, as the attacker explores a move back to Maltese football. The 24-year-old is currently on the books of Serbian Super League side FK Čukarički, who are understood to be open to allowing the player to leave on loan until the end of the season.
It is understood that three Malta Premier League clubs have shown interest in Mbong, however Floriana are believed to be leading the race as talks intensify in recent hours.
A former Birkirkara FC forward, Mbong has already built a solid reputation at domestic level and remains a regular member of the Maltese national team. A move to Floriana would see him add attacking depth and experience to the Greens’ squad.
Should the transfer be completed, Mbong would become Floriana’s second Maltese international signing of the window, following the arrival of Myles Beerman from Sliema Wanderers in January.
