Pablo Doffo Appointed Sliema Wanderers Coach Until End of Season

Sliema Wanderers have appointed Argentine coach Pablo Doffo to lead the team until the end of the season, following a swift agreement reached with Nadur Youngsters. Doffo replaces Paul Zammit, who departed the club by mutual consent after Sliema’s Meridianbet FA Trophy exit at the hands of Swieqi United.
Doffo arrives from Nadur Youngsters, having previously coached Senglea Athletic, Marsaxlokk and Swieqi United. His coaching career follows a lengthy playing spell in Malta with Hibernians, Floriana, Naxxar Lions, Senglea and Marsaxlokk.
His first test comes on Saturday against champions Ħamrun Spartans, as Sliema continue their push for a European place.
