Neptunes emerged as Swimming Long Course Champions for the 2025/26 season after four days of intense competition at the Cottonera Indoor Pool, where an impressive 294 medals were won across all age categories. The championship highlighted both team strength and individual excellence, with several standout swimmers rewriting the record books.
Among the top performers was Madeleine Cassar, who set a new Age Group D record in the 200m butterfly, clocking a remarkable 2:25.50. Martina Galea also shone, breaking the Age Group C record in the 50m butterfly with an impressive 29.60, underscoring the rising talent within Malta’s swimming community.
