Naxxar Lions Youth To Play Lincoln Red In 1st European Game

Naxxar Lions are set for their first-ever European adventure in the UEFA Youth League after being crowned Youth League Section A champions last season.
In the opening round, they will face Gibraltar’s Lincoln Red Imps, with the first leg in Malta on 17th September and the return leg away on 10th October.
This revamped UEFA Youth League gives rising clubs from smaller nations the chance to shine on the European stage. Just last season, Valletta FC managed to reach the second round.
Should the Lions advance, a massive test awaits against Dutch giants AZ Alkmaar in the second round. ️
