The National Stadium in Ta’ Qali is looking great once again, with its grass surface restored to an impressive standard following months of criticism over its poor condition. The turnaround has been credited to the Malta FA’s Head Groundsman and his dedicated team, whose focused work has brought the pitch back to a level worthy of top‑tier football.
After a difficult period, the grounds staff implemented an intensive maintenance programme aimed at improving consistency, durability and overall playability. Their efforts have resulted in a surface that now provides an excellent platform for both domestic and international matches.
