Equally inspiring was Sasha’s phenomenal swim in the 200m freestyle short course. With a blistering time of 1:59.86, she not only set a new national record but also became the first Maltese female swimmer to break the two-minute barrier in this event. Her achievement marks a significant milestone for women’s swimming in Malta and is a testament to her dedication and hard work.
Behind these successes stands Sliema Coach Stan Ioan Catalin, whose constant guidance and support have been instrumental in shaping these athletes’ journeys. His commitment to nurturing talent continues to elevate Maltese swimming to new heights.
Congratulations to Nathan and Sasha for their historic performances—moments that will inspire future generations of Maltese swimmers.
