Nathan Cachia and Matt Satariano Deliver Exceptional Performances in 200m Events

Sliema ASC celebrated a remarkable day in the pool as two national records were shattered by standout swimmers Nathan Cachia and Matt Satariano. Their performances underline the club’s growing strength and the athletes’ relentless commitment to excellence.

In the 200m Butterfly, Nathan Cachia produced a sensational swim, touching the wall in 2:03.83 to set a new National Record. His pace, control, and powerful finish left no doubt about his rising status in Maltese swimming.

Shortly after, teammate Matt Satariano delivered another moment of brilliance, breaking the 200m Individual Medley National Record with an impressive 2:07.67. His versatility across all four strokes and his composed race strategy were key to this outstanding achievement.

These results reflect the hard work and determination shown by both swimmers, as well as the strong coaching and support system at Sliema ASC.
