Montfort & Bonnici Peresso Ready for World Junior Stage

Malta’s artistic swimming prospects Zea Montfort and Jude Bonnici Peresso will compete tomorrow at the World Aquatics Junior Artistic Swimming Championships, marking an important milestone for the national programme. Both athletes have been preparing under Head Coach Michelle Hyubner and Assistant Coach Hannah Preca Trapani, who continue to guide Malta’s growing presence in elite artistic swimming.

Montfort opens Malta’s participation in the Women’s Solo Technical at 10:00, performing as Start No. 8. Her routine is expected to highlight improved technique, control and musical expression, reflecting her steady progression at junior international level.

In the afternoon, Bonnici Peresso will feature in the Men’s Solo Technical at 14:00, competing as Start No. 10. His appearance adds further significance, with Malta continuing to develop competitive male representation in the sport.

Both athletes will proudly carry the Maltese flag on the world stage, aiming to deliver confident and polished performances.
