MLS United win back to back BOV GIDA League Championships

On Sunday 12 April, MLS United won their second BOV GIDA League championship in a row, repeating last year's success, snatching the title away from Panthers FC on the last day of the season.

The boys in green and black beat Birnapa with a dominant 6-0 win, retaining the title by just one point, following their 2025 triumph in the same competition.

This league triumph comes to no surprise. MLS United won 13 from the 16 games they played, including an impressive 11 match win-streak from the beginning of the season. They also achieved a goal difference of 42, the best in the league, which highlights how the club and its players left no stone unturned in their efforts for glory.

MLS United argued that "this second league title is the result of the time, hard work and care invested by both the players and administration into this project and is a re-confirmation of the club’s stellar legacy within the GIDA League," highlighting the club's hard work in the build up to its second consecutive league success.

The Club congratulated its players and expressed how proud of them it is, while assuring them that it will always be behind them to support and drive them forward for future successes.
