Mgarr United Set for Historic UWCL Debut in Slovakia

Mgarr United Women have officially begun their UEFA Women’s Champions League adventure, travelling to Slovakia for the First Qualifying Round as they prepare for one of the most significant moments in the club’s history. Their European debut comes after a remarkable 2025/26 season in which Mgarr won the Assikura Women’s League for the first time, securing qualification to the UWCL.

Drawn in Group 5, Mgarr will face Estonia’s Tallinna FC Flora in the semi‑final tomorrow, with the winner advancing to a final against Slovak hosts Spartak Myjava on 25 July. A victory would send the Greens into the Second Qualifying Round, where they would meet Albania’s 13‑time champions Vllaznia.
