MFA Vice President Visits Caroline Springs George Cross FC

A special visit took place at Caroline Springs George Cross FC this week as Trustin Farrugia Cann, Vice President of the Malta Football Association, spent time at the club during his trip to Australia. The visit offered an opportunity to strengthen ties between Maltese football and the Australian football community.

During his time at Georgies, General Manager Liza Djuric coordinated a productive meeting with Football Victoria, opening discussions on collaboration, development pathways, and shared football initiatives. The visit continued with a guided tour of the Home of the Matildas, where Farrugia Cann was given an inside look at one of Australia’s premier high‑performance football facilities.

Farrugia Cann expressed his admiration for the club’s professionalism, infrastructure, and community spirit, noting how impressed he was with the environment and the people behind it. He also shared his enthusiasm for watching the Senior Team in action on Friday night, marking the visit as both meaningful and memorable.
