MFA President Bjorn Vassallo Visits Maltese-Australian Football Club

Malta Football Association President Bjorn Vassallo met with Mark Sultana, President of Australian club Caroline Springs George Cross FC, earlier today to discuss potential collaborations between the two organisations.

Founded in 1947 by Maltese immigrants, Caroline Springs George Cross FC proudly maintains its Maltese heritage. The club’s red-and-white kit and the George Cross emblem on its crest reflect these roots, while many players and staff continue to celebrate their Maltese connections.

The discussions focused on exploring potential partnerships that honour and preserve the club’s Maltese identity. Caroline Springs George Cross FC currently competes in the Victoria Premier League 1 division, continuing a proud tradition of Maltese football abroad.
