Matthew Satariano sets new 200IM national record in Munich

Matthew Satariano enjoyed an impressive outing in Munich, registering a national record time of 2:06.75 in the 200m Individual Medley during his first swim at the Olympic Swimming Pool inside the Olympic Park. The Sliema ASC swimmer improved his previous record, set last April, by 0.92 seconds, confirming his steady progress at international level.
Satariano is currently in Germany with his coach Ioan Catalin Stan, who continues to guide his development across multiple medley events. His next appearance will be the 400m Individual Medley on Friday morning, where he will aim to build on the momentum of his latest achievement.
