Local
It's matchday for Birzebbuġa St Peter’s and Marsaxlokk, who face off in the first game of matchday 9 of the Malta Premier League, at the Tony Bezzina Stadium in Paola at 18:00.
Birzebbuġa St Peter’s are still looking for their first win, with the only point of their campaign from their 2-2 draw against Mosta. Marsaxlokk are currently in second place with 17 points, two points away from leaders Valletta.
Last season's runners up are eager to keep the pressure on Valletta, while Birzebbuġa look to turn the page and earn their first Malta Premier League win in their history.
