Birkirkara and Floriana face off today at the Tony Bezzina Stadium at 18:00, with both sides looking to bounce back from each of their previous games against Marsaxlokk and Mosta, respectively.

Birkirkara are currently eighth in the Premier League table, with 10 points, while Floriana are currently in third place with 15 points. The Stripes lost their previous encounter against Marsaxlokk 2-0, with the Greens being held to a dramatic 3-3 draw after conceding two late goals against Mosta.

Birkirkara will be looking to equal sixth place Mosta on 13 points, as the race for the top 6 intensifies. With Marsaxlokk losing their match against Birzebbuġa St Peter’s yesterday evening, Floriana will be eager to leapfrog the Blues in second place and keep the pressure on Valletta, with the race for the league title now in full swing.
