The 2025 Hudson Race Series, powered by Nike, reached a thrilling finale on 8th December with the Valletta Edition, marking the end of its 10th anniversary season. Known for its steep climbs and unpredictable weather, this year’s race offered runners perfect conditions, with sunshine accompanying them from start to finish.

In the men’s 10km race, Mark Herrera showcased his dominance by taking an early lead and maintaining a steady rhythm throughout the demanding course. His consistency on the climbs proved decisive, as he crossed the line first, followed by Jeremy Curmi in second and Brahim El Khattabi in third. In the women’s 10km, Josanne Attard Pulis delivered another commanding performance, securing victory ahead of Jolene Debattista and Brigitte Calascione.

The 5km race also produced exciting finishes. Brandon Saliba claimed the men’s title, edging out Emanuel Zammit and Conway Cachia, while Rosalie Borg Cauchi triumphed in the women’s category, finishing ahead of Cypriot runner Chrystalla Hadjipolydorou and Charyl Fava.

Race Founder Charlie Demanuele praised the success of the milestone season, highlighting the blend of scenic routes and challenging courses that continue to attract athletes of all levels. The 2026 edition will kick off on 1st February with the Three Cities race, with registration already open online.
