Maltese Trio Set to Shine at European Snooker Junior Championships in Gandia

Three young Maltese snooker players are set to make their mark at this year’s European Snooker Championships in Gandia March 1st to Tuesday, March 17th under the auspices of the European Billiards & Snooker Association. Representing Malta in the Junior Championship, which runs across Under-16, Under-18, and Under-21 categories, are Caiden Casha, Xavier Rizzo, and Adam Pace.

Caiden Casha will have the busiest schedule, competing in all three age groups, while Xavier Rizzo will take part in the Under-16 and Under-21 events. Adam Pace will feature in the Under-16 and Under-18 categories. The Under-16 matches are scheduled from March 1st to March 4th, the Under-18 games run from March 2nd to March 5th, and the Under-21 competition begins on March 5th, culminating in the final on March 8th, the same day the Men’s Individual event, the main highlight of the championships, kicks off.

The Maltese players are accompanied by Ivan Attard and snooker association"], head coach of the Malta Billiards & Snooker Association, who will oversee their preparation and performance throughout the tournament. With 151 players from 32 countries competing, this championship offers a major opportunity for the young Maltese snooker talents to gain international exposure and potentially take steps toward a professional career in the sport.
