Maltese Soldier Dillon Mamo Crowned WKN European Kickboxing Champion

Maltese soldier Gunner Dillon Mamo has been crowned World Kickboxing Network (WKN) European Champion after defeating a strong Spanish opponent in a prestigious title bout.

Representing both Malta and the Armed Forces of Malta, Gunner Mamo delivered an impressive performance to claim the European title, bringing the championship belt home after overcoming his rival in the ring.

A proud member of the 1st Regiment of the Armed Forces of Malta, Mamo carried the Maltese flag with pride throughout the competition, adding another international sporting achievement to Malta's name.

His success was also made possible through the guidance of his coach, Noel Mercieca, a former soldier and Head Coach of Team Noel Malta. Mercieca's experience and dedication played a key role in preparing Mamo for the championship-winning performance.

The victory marks a major milestone in Mamo's kickboxing career and is another proud moment for Maltese sport on the international stage.
