Maltese Maya Lucia Joins Cyprus’ Apollon Ladies FC

Malta women’s national team player Maya Lucia has joined Apollon Ladies in Cyprus for the 2025/26 season.
The forward signed a one-year deal with the Cypriot champions, who began their league campaign with a 4-0 win over Olympiakos Nicosia last weekend.
Lucia previously played for Gdansk in Poland’s top division and has also featured for Genoa in Italy and Split and Osijek in Croatia.
A former Raiders player, she helped Malta secure promotion to League B in the UEFA Women’s Nations League. She becomes the second Maltese player at Apollon after Rachel Cuschieri, who joined the club in 2014.
