Maltese Match Officials Successfully Complete Prestigious UEFA CORE 63 Programme

Maltese football refereeing has received another significant boost after Elite referee Ezekiel Barbara and Elite Assistant Referee Andrea Pavia Schiavone successfully completed the prestigious UEFA CORE 63 programme.

The Centre of Refereeing Excellence (CORE) is one of UEFA’s leading development initiatives, designed to identify and nurture promising match officials from across Europe.

Throughout the programme, participants undergo intensive practical training, advanced physical fitness assessments and specialised mentoring under the guidance of experienced UEFA referee instructors.
