MALTESE FOOTBALL COMMUNITY BIDS EMOTIONAL FAREWELL TO JULIAN ATTARD

The Maltese football community is mourning the loss of beloved administrator Julian Attard, whose passing has prompted an outpouring of heartfelt tributes from across the local game.

His boyhood club, Floriana F.C., where he served as Club Administrator and Youths Team Manager, paid tribute to the significant role he played in the club’s recent successes. The club extended its deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones, remembering him as a dedicated and valued member of the Floriana family.

Marsaxlokk F.C., the side Attard had more recently joined as an administrator, also shared a heartfelt message, expressing their sorrow and offering condolences to all those who knew and loved him.

Meanwhile, the Malta Football Association recognised his extensive contribution to Maltese football, particularly his work with both Floriana and Marsaxlokk.

Attard’s commitment and passion for the local game leave behind a lasting legacy that will be remembered by many within the football community.
