ANTON SALIBA TAKES ON 190KM MALTA-GOZO RUN TO HONOUR LATE FATHER

Maltese-Australian Anton Saliba is currently training intensively as he prepares to take on one of the toughest challenges of his life, a 190km run around the full circumnavigation of Malta and Gozo, in honour of his late father and to support cancer research.
Saliba is aiming to become just the fifth person ever to complete this demanding feat, while also hoping to be the youngest to do so.
Named ‘RunMalta190’, the challenge will see him cover 190km, take on over 4,000 metres of elevation, and spend an estimated 40 hours on the move.
The run is set to begin on August 22.
