MALTESE ATHLETES SHINE AT IFBB EUROPEAN CHILDREN’S FITNESS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Last May, the Malta Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness organized the Fitness Challenge Malta at Hayman’s Gym, where three young athletes were selected to represent Malta on the international stage at the IFBB European Children’s Fitness Championships 2025.

The prestigious event took place at the MCC Mazurkas Conference Center in Warsaw, Poland, and saw the Maltese competitors deliver outstanding performances against strong international opposition.

Charlee Zarb achieved an impressive third place in the Fitness Challenge Mini Boys (6–8 years) category, marking a podium finish for Malta. Emma Gheiti secured ninth place in the Fitness Challenge Mini Girls (6–8 years) category, while Kylee Fardell finished 18th in the Fitness Challenge Mini Girls (8–10 years) category.

These results reflect the dedication and professionalism of coaches Jennifer Portelli and Etienne Hayman, who work tirelessly to prepare athletes for high-level challenges. The team also expressed gratitude to parents for their unwavering support, which plays a vital role in the athletes’ success.

The federation looks forward to building on these achievements and wishes all athletes continued success in future competitions.
