Malta’s Women’s Under‑17 team put up a spirited fight in Estonia but were edged out 3–2 in their UEFA European Championship qualifier. Amy Catania opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a superb long‑range effort, giving Malta an early advantage before Estonia capitalised on strong wind conditions to turn the match around.
