Malta Women U16 Basketball Team Beat Albania And Win Gold At Eurobasket Division C

Malta Basketball's Under 16 women's team made history after beating Albania to win gold at the Eurobasket Division C competition held at the Ta' Qali Basketball Pavillion.

The U16 men's team had to settle for silver after losing the final to Armenia at the Mika Sport Complex in Yerevan.

The Malta women's team produced a strong display in the final, showing determination and team spirit to achieve glory in such a prestigious competition.

Minister for Education and Sport, Byron Camilleri, was present for the final which saw Malta's U16 girl triumph over their opponents in a high-stakes match. He congratulated the women's team for their victory, while also praising the men's team for finishing as runners up in the same competition.
