The National Women’s Water Polo Team has departed from Malta International Airport for a crucial training camp in Nováky, Slovakia, as part of their final preparations ahead of the World Aquatics Water Polo World Cup 2026 Division 2 Women. The prestigious tournament will be hosted in Malta from 21–26 April 2026, placing added significance on the team’s final phase of preparation.

The training camp in Slovakia will allow the squad to refine tactical structures, strengthen team cohesion and gain valuable match‑intensity practice against strong European opposition. With the World Cup taking place on home soil, expectations are high, and the team is determined to arrive in peak condition.

Coaches and staff emphasised the importance of this final stretch, noting that the camp provides an ideal environment for focused, uninterrupted work.
