MALTA WOMEN’S NATIONAL TEAM SET FOR DOUBLE FRIENDLY AGAINST CROATIA

The Malta Women’s National Team will return to action next week with two international friendlies against Croatia at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali. The first match is scheduled for Friday, 28th November at 7.00pm, followed by the second on Monday, 1st December at 5.00pm
These fixtures form part of Malta’s preparation for the UEFA Women’s European Qualifiers, where the team will compete in League B2 alongside Northern Ireland, Switzerland, and Turkey. Head Coach Manuela Tesse aims to use this final international window to assess player form, integrate younger talent, and refine tactics ahead of the demanding 2026 campaign.
Despite injuries to Haley Bugeja, Fiona Buttigieg, Jana Barbara, and Charlene Zammit, the squad welcomes U19 forward Sara Saliba back to senior duty.
