Malta Wins Ladies Doubles Event At Mediterranean Bowling Championships

Malta won its second gold medal at the Mediterranean Bowling Championships in Croatia, after Kayden Laganà secured gold in the Singles Event during the first day of the competition.

The female doubles team of Cynthia Frendo Duca and Tiziana Muscat Carannante both bowled strongly to finish 1st amongst 15 teams, and the only pair to achieve an average of over 200 (206.17). Both bowlers shot a strong average (205 for Frendo Duca and 207 for Muscat Carannante), ensuring the second gold at these Mediterranean Bowling Championships.

The mens’ doubles with Kayden Lagana’ and Nicolai Mallia also did very well, as they placed 4th in an event won by the Spanish team.

The mixed doubles competition is up next, with the Maltese teams eager to keep the momentum going and secure more wins throughout the tournament.
