Gżira United FC midfielder Andy Borg reached 100 Malta Premier League appearances in the Maroons' match against Ħamrun Spartans last Sunday.

The Malta U21 international joined Gżira United form Luxol St Andrew back in 2022, signing a five-year deal with the Maroons. Now in his fifth season with the team, Borg has extended his stay at Gżira United until 2030, signing a new four-year deal.

Andy has been a regular for the Maroons during the past four seasons, which saw Gżira United go through to multiple UEFA Conference League qualification rounds, and arriving to the FA Trophy final during the 2025/26 season.

Gżira United Football Club congratulated Andy on this milestone, with the 22 year-old continuing to establish himself in Malta's top flight.
