Malta U19 Women emerge victorious against Kazakhstan

The Malta Under 19 women's team beat Kazakhstan 1-0 in this morning's European Qualifier which took place at The Centenary Stadium at 11am.
After a goal-less first half, the girls in red scored the only goal of the match to beat the visitors 1-0. Ema Micallef reacted quickly to convert the rebound from Francesca Bartolo's effort which hit the crossbar, giving her side the lead and eventually the win in a match which saw the Maltese side produce a determined display.
The Malta Football Association congratulated the team for the win and the fantastic performance which led to this triumph.
