Malta U19 Women Beat Kazakhstan 3-1 To End Women's European U19 Championship Campaign

The Malta U19 women's team beat Kazakhstan 3-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Monday afternoon, ending their Women's European U19 Championship campaign on a positive note.

The Maltese girls went behind before Amy Catania restored parity for Malta in the first half, with both side heading into the break on level terms.

A quick brace by Crista Chetcuti Ganado at the start of the second half sealed the victory for Malta, as the young Maltese girls finish their qualifying campaign on a high.

The team collected four points from this campaign, suffering a heavy 0-5 defeat against Czechia in their opening match, before earning a point after a 1-1 draw against Romania, and later a 3-1 win against Kazakhstan.
