Malta U14 Show Spirit in Thrilling 3-3 Fightback

Malta’s Under-14 National Team delivered a performance full of character and resilience as they battled back from 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw against North Macedonia in their second international friendly in Skopje.

The young Maltese side showed maturity beyond their years, refusing to let the match slip away despite a difficult spell early in the second half. Alex Zammit was the standout performer, scoring twice including a crucial late equaliser to cap a superb individual display.

Noah Muscat also found the net, finishing off a well-worked move that reignited Malta’s momentum heading into the final stages.

This spirited comeback marks another valuable step in the team’s development, offering the players important international experience and demonstrating the growing depth of Malta’s youth football pathway.
