Malta to Compete at European Artistic Swimming Championships

Malta will be represented at the European Artistic Swimming Championships in Paris, France, as the national team takes to the European stage to compete alongside some of the continent’s leading athletes.

The Maltese delegation includes athletes competing in the solo and duet events, with Zea Montfort representing Malta in the Women’s Solo, Jude Bonnici Peresso in the Men’s Solo, and Ana Culic and Thea Grima Buttigieg competing in the Women’s Duet. The team is led by Head Coach Michelle Hubner.

The championship marks an important milestone for artistic swimming in Malta, with the country competing at the Senior European Artistic Swimming Championships for only the second time in its history.

The team’s participation reflects the continued growth and development of the sport locally, while providing the athletes with an opportunity to gain valuable international experience and compete at the highest level.

As they take to the pool in Paris, the Maltese athletes will proudly represent their country and contribute to the growing presence of artistic swimming on the Maltese sporting scene.
